My story
So, why call it Bored Mama?
It might sound funny—because let’s be real, motherhood is anything but boring. It’s constant, full of love, chaos, and countless unforgettable moments. But in the midst of all the responsibilities, it’s easy to feel like we’ve lost a piece of ourselves.
I chose the name Bored Mama to reflect that quiet longing for something more—not because motherhood isn’t fulfilling, but because we all need a little space to grow, to reconnect with ourselves, and to explore new ideas beyond the daily routines. This is that space—a creative outlet, a source of inspiration, and a community where we can share experiences and learn from one another.
And yes, you may have noticed our unique logo—my photo with an Ape (it’s a Bored Ape) in the background. It’s a playful nod to the evolving world around us, a reminder that change is constant, and that embracing new perspectives—whether through creativity, connection, or even technology—can enrich our lives in ways we never expected.
I created Bored Mama as a modern guide for moms navigating it all—offering practical insights, real talk, and a supportive community where we can uplift and inspire each other. No matter where you are on this journey, you’re not alone.

Our Bored Ape's journey
It was May 2021, deep in the pandemic, we spent hours on Clubhouse, an audio app, connecting through audio rooms and diving into the latest trends in technology, specifically Web3.
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs, which are digital assets living on a blockchain) were the hot topic, and Bored Ape Yacht Club in particular were the talk of the town. These unique digital assets and in this case digital apes were selling on the Ethereum blockchain, capturing the imaginations of artists and collectors alike.
We’d missed the initial sale of the Bored Ape collection, but were intrigued, so we turned to the Clubhouse community. To our surprise, one generous artist agreed to sell us a digital Bored Ape, and our journey into NFT ownership and Web3 began.
Since then, our Ape has been safely stashed in our digital wallet—until now.
We're thrilled to finally bring it to life as a symbol of creativity and innovation on this platform, embodying our belief in technology's potential to empower and connect mothers everywhere.
